DPAC February Update:

February updates

There is so much going on this month, we thought it warranted a mid-month update.

  • Within the next month there will be a DPAC General (Feb 28), and Special (Mar 7), and Executive (March 14) meetings. More information about them further down.
  • VSB is working on its Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP) and 2019/20 Budget. DPAC will be having meetings on them on March 7 (LRFP) and April 25 (Budget).
  • We have received two nominations for DPAC executives,
    • Peter Couch (nominated by Simon Fraser Elementary) and Skye Richards (nominated by Magee Secondary). PAC execs, voting closes at 7pm on Wednesday, March 13. If you haven’t received your electronic ballot, please contact Shaun Kalley (chair@vancovuerdpac.org)
    • If both Peter and Skye are successful, we will have 9 executive members leaving space for 3 more.  If you are interested, please ask your PAC to nominate you at the next PAC meeting (nomination form). Our March 14 Executive Meeting will be the last opportunity to be nominated to our 2018/19 executive.
